All Plasto toys are produced in Finland in our own factory. Plasto toys are designed and manufactured to last.
Plasto toys are manufactured of safe raw materials, mainly of polyethylene and polypropylene. There are no phthalates, BisphenolA, lead, cadmium or other hazardous chemicals in our toys
In addition we also manufacture toys of biobased polyethylene made from sugar cane.
Our factory and Environmental Policy
Our quality control assures that any less-than-perfect part produced during the manufacturing process is granulated and reused in our own production. For example parts with colour defects are ground to granulates and reused in making new parts.
We heat our premises with the warm water that is generated during production.
We continuously work at reducing our electricity consumption by investing in energy efficient machines. In addition we also have own solar energy production.
